It will operate efficiently and add to the operation of the sanitary plumbing system when correctly installed.
The Aqualine Haigh Air admittance valve must be:
- Installed in an accessible position, if installed in a wall cavity ventilation openings must be provided,
- Installed in a vertical position,
- Installed 100mm above the horizontal waste pipe to which it is fitted,
- Installed 150mm above the insulation in a roof space or attic,
- Installed after the sanitary plumbing or sanitary drainage system has been tested for soundness,
- The Aqualine valve must be the same diameter or larger than the vent pipe that would be installed,
- The installation is to comply with the requirements of the local Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage requirements.
- Valve airflow capacity + 4.0 litres/sec with maximum fixture unit loading of 27 units when used for trap or group venting, or 2 units when used for stack venting.
AV3240 fits 32mm PVC pipe or 40mm PVC socket
AV4050 fits 40mm PVC pipe or 50mm PVC pipe
Both AAV's are tested and certified to AS/NZS4936
